I've exhausted all efforts..Pagod na ako. I've read old emails from last week and have not found the person. Somebody told me to read Matthew 23:35. So moved that I read the whole Book of Matthew. I am satisfied. Who are you? son of God, let yourself be known to me so that I may worship the Lord. Elbert, please read my PM for you. Thanks.[/b]

This section of the NT can also help us explain why God allows evil to happen.
John 9:1-3 (Words of Jesus in red.) 1As he walked along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God's works might be revealed in him

It would be a great honor if this is my purpose.

Chippoy...."..serve my God to magnify His presence to His people. It would be a great honor if this is my purpose." I am quite sure God read this and is very happy that you said it.

My belief is that God is good and He is good all the time.
However, there is an enemy who is always out to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10) and it is that enemy who brings about bad things. Definitely not our God for that is not His nature for in Him who is light there can be no darkness (1John 1:5).
It is not that God allows things to happen because His plans for us are all for good (Jer 29:11). We do, however, have a tendency to not hear Him correctly and/or specifically as to where He wants us to be and that is what causes us to be out of the shadow of His almighty protection and thus prone to the attacks of the enemy.
Hence it is so imperative to always stayed "tuned" to our Father through prayer and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
