I've found that going somewhere alone, with your bible or with an mp3 player full of praise and worship songs, to a secluded area close to nature, does wonders. I just sit and talk to God, and listen for His answers. One time I went to Batangas and sat on the beach watching the sun go down, alone with God. Bonding. But on the whole, nothing can replace daily bible reading and quiet prayer time.

Personally, it is whenever I wait patiently for something (standing in line, riding a cab, etc.) that I find some quiet time to just chat with Him. No one bothers me then.... Also, when Im just cruisin on my ride in the mountains, sunrise, misty morning wet cool air, no one on the road, rythmic burupupu burupupu of my vtwin... hay.... its a holy moment.. I mostly thank Him then. For being alive... being free... being healthy.. for His love.

Quite time for me is around 3 to 4 am. It really helps if you start the day with praise and worship. before you start the day give time for prayer, to hear the Holy Spirit talking to you. He helps you avoid potential disastrous decisions. Guides you on things that you need to do.
I also access God's grace, so that, i will be able to do all the things that i need to do without worries, distractions, anxieties.

Quiet time is very essential because in this situation we examine ourselves and reflect what we did the whole day. It sometimes help us to ease our stress, problems and burdens. So just surrender it to the Lord and He will take care of everything...

(GAS=Gear Acquisition Syndrome) i remember times when i'd ride alone and just talk to him and feel LIFE! it's something that i can't explain. bonding with Jesus is really awesome specially in that riding scenario. Jesus, please Get me back on road!
